Welcome to Hike&Seek! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By booking a trek or tour with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Hike&Seek
Hike&Seek is a company providing guided trekking and tour services in the regions of Uttarakhand, India.

2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that you are:
At least 18 years old, or using the service under supervision of a legal guardian
Physically fit and medically able to participate in outdoor activities like trekking
Providing accurate and truthful information during booking
3. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be made through our website or official contact channels.
A minimum advance payment is required to confirm your slot. The amount and due date will be
communicated at the time of booking.
Full payment must typically be made before the departure date unless otherwise agreed.
Payment methods include [UPI / Net banking, etc. – customize as per your setup].
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
a. By Participant:
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the trek: 100% refund
Cancellations made 7-14 days or more before the trek: 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 7 days: no refund
No-shows or last-minute dropouts are non-refundable.
b. By Hike&Seek:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a trek due to:
Unforeseen weather conditions
Minimum participant requirement not being met
Government restrictions or safety concerns
In such cases, you may choose between:
A full refund, OR
A credit for a future trek
5. Travel Insurance & Risk Acknowledgement
Travel insurance is highly recommended, but not provided by Hike&Seek.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that trekking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks including
accidents, injuries, altitude sickness, or natural calamities.
You agree to participate voluntarily and take full responsibility for your health and safety during the trip.
6. Code of Conduct
We expect participants to:
Follow instructions of the guide/team leader at all times
Respect local cultures, communities, and the environment
Not engage in any disruptive, illegal, or unsafe behavior
Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may lead to removal from the group with no refund.
7. Itinerary Changes
The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, road conditions, group pace, or other unforeseen
circumstances.
Hike&Seek reserves the right to modify or cancel parts of the trip in the interest of safety or feasibility.
8. Liability Limitation
Hike&Seek, its partners, employees, or guides shall not be held liable for:
Any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the trip
Delays or cancellations due to external factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, government
regulations)
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website including logos, images, itineraries, and text is the property of Hike&Seek and may
not be copied or used without permission.
10. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy
for how we collect and use your personal information.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts
located in Dehradun
